Tailored Therapies for Every Dog

At Canine Kinetics, every treatment is individually tailored to suit your dog’s unique needs. We combine a variety of proven modalities — including laser therapy, ultrasound, dry needling, cupping, and electrotherapy — to provide the most effective and comfortable care for your furry friend.

Therapeutic Ultrasound

Therapeutic ultrasound is the application of sound waves via a transducer directly onto the skin. Ultrasound is used to promote local blood flow and may help reduce local swelling and chronic inflammation. Ultrasound is also used to promote bone fracture healing and to help break down scar tissue.

Cold Laser (LLLT)

LLLT (also known as low-level laser therapy)  is a non invasive treatment that applies light in the form of low level lasers or LED's  to the tissues of the body. The application of low-power lasers alleviates pain and can improve tissue repair and is great for wound healing! It is a painless procedure and usually takes about 10 minutes to complete.

Electrotherapy

Neuromuscular electrical simulation (NMES) involves sending electrical impulses to the nerves. This causes the muscles to contract and can be used to increase strength and range of motion. It is often used to 're-train' and 're-educate' muscle back to function after a period of disuse.

  Dry Needling
Dry needling is a technique that involves inserting thin needles into specific muscle trigger points to relieve pain and improve muscle function. It is used on dogs to alleviate pain, enhance mobility, and support muscle recovery without the need for medications. This treatment can be particularly beneficial for dogs with injuries, chronic conditions, or those in need of improved muscular performance.

Cupping
Cupping is a therapy that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction, which increases blood flow, reduces muscle tension, and promotes healing. When used on dogs, cupping can help alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, and enhance mobility, making it beneficial for dogs with musculoskeletal issues or chronic conditions.
